This classic Omega Constellation Ref. 168.004 in stainless steel is in great functional and cosmetic condition. It dates from the 1966 and measures 35.5mm without original crown.
The silver dial is well preserved and features a radial brush pattern. Applied silver batons with desirable onyx inlays mark the hours, Omega logo at 12 o’clock and signature applied Constellation star at 6 o’clock. Constellation star is very slightly off axis which may indicate it had come loose and was reattached at some point. The dial font is clean and appears to be the correct font type and spacing. The hands were likely replaced at some point, as while the hands contain lume, the dial is not signed “T”. Signed Omega crown.
The automatic Omega Cal. 561 powering the watch is clean, running smoothly and keeping time. This Omega will arrive on a black genuine Lizard strap with stainless steel buckle.
Due to the sensitive nature of vintage watches, this watch should be treated as though not water resistant, even if marked as being so.
