An oversized gents Omega Cosmic triple date ref. 2486 in steel, circa 1950. The large, 37.3mm snap back stainless steel case has been well preserved with only light hand polishing evident. Rounded case band with lyre lugs. Signed crown.
Silver dial in excellent condition with light even aging. Alternating black painted deco numerals and silver applied drops. Outer date track in blue. Silver alpha hands and blued date pointer. Subsidiary seconds/moonphase at 6 o’clock with lightly aged moonphase disc. English day disc, French month. Signed Omega crystal. Dial signed “OMEGA”, “SWISS”.
Omega caliber 381 with 17 jewels. Overall good condition, winding, running well and keeping time.
Delivered on a modern leather strap with later signed Omega steel buckle.
