A gents Mido Multi-Centerchrono with original two-tone pulsometer dial on a vintage Mido stainless steel bracelet, circa 1940’s.  Mido produced the Multi-Centerchrono in the 1940’s with several different dial configurations including white, black and copper.  The pulsometer variation seen here is uncommon, as the vast majority of these watches are found with a telemeter/tachymeter combination dial.  The stainless steel case measures 35mm and was made by case maker Taubert et Fils, who also manufactured the cases of some of Patek Philippe’s most iconic chronographs.  The signature ribbed pushers seen here were the exact type used on Patek Philippes’ first waterproof chronograph, the ref. 1463.  Case displays moderate wear commensurate with age throughout.  Original unsigned crown.  Pushers display wear and two very small dings as seen in photos.  Screw down case back with inner dust cover.  Overall wear commensurate with age.  Blued steel dagger hands with red and blue chronograph hands.  Radium filled arabic hour markers.  Dial displays mottled cream patina.  Tachymeter, telemeter, second track in white.

Valjoux based Mido caliber 1300 is in very good condition with all complications functional.  The service history is unknown but the watch is running well and keeping time.
