An attractive gents Movado ‘anti-magnetic’ wrist watch with multi-tone dial, circa 1940s. Taubert-made stainless steel case with screw down case back. 35mm excluding original mushroom crown. Overall very good condition with minor wear throughout. Factory original multi-tone silver dial with moderate patina throughout. Arabic radium filled hours. Outer black printed minute track, silver foil stripe. Original blued steel syringe hands with radium luminous. Subsidiary seconds. Signed “MOVADO”, “ANTI-MAGNETIC”.
Powered by a hand-winding Movado caliber 75 with seventeen jewels. The movement is clean, winding and running well and keeping time.
