A Longines reference 6536 gents wristwatch, circa 1953. Stainless steel screw back case with sloping lugs and thick, defined bevels measuring 34.5mm excluding the crown. Bumps, scuffs and moderate wear throughout. Original silver dial aged to a light cream. Applied silver Breguet numerals marking cardinal hours with faceted applied darts marking ancillary. Radium luminous compound aged to a deep custard. Original dauphine hands, center sweep seconds. Signed “LONGINES”, “AUTOMATIC”, “SWISS”.
Powered by a self winding Longines caliber 19AS with 17 jewels. Movement is in overall very good condition, is winding, running well and keeping time.
