A gents time-only Audemars Piguet dress watch in rare rose gold with red leatherette box, circa 1957.  Elegant Calatrava-style case in 18kt rose gold with snap on back measuring just shy of 33mm.  Audemars Piguet made very few watches in this material in the middle of the 20th century making each one a special find.  The factory original silver dial features slender applied rose gold hour markers, Audemars Piguet’s signature rose gold baton hands and subsidiary seconds.  Note there is a small blemish below the 9 o’clock marker visible in the photos.  Signed “AUDEMARS, PIGUET”, “GENÈVE”, “SWISS”.

Audemars Piguet caliber 2001 with 18 jewels, adjusted to temperatures and four positions.  The watch is winding, running well and keeping time.
