A clean and sharp Movado Sub Sea reference reference 281 chronograph with signed steel bracelet. Stainless steel case measuring 35mm made by François Borgel (later Taubert Frères), who also made the case for the Patek Philippe ref. 1463. The movement, Movados’ own in-house caliber M95, scores points for being the first chronograph to utilize a modular design.
Very good overall condition with light age wear throughout. All original parts present including signed crown, dial and hands. Factory finished satin white dial is in excellent condition with light aging as seen in the provided photos. 60 minute counter at 3, 12 hour counter at 6, and continuous seconds at 9.
Freshly serviced original M95 column wheel movement running well and keeping time. All chronograph functions are fully operational.
