A one-owner all original beauty. Gents Rolex Oysterdate 6494 circa the 1950’s.
Case
Stainless steel case is 34mm excluding original signed screw down crown. The case has been polished and has light wear from use. Caseback is stamped 6494 III.56 and scribed 083249209.
Dial
Original finish creme colored tropical dial with applied gold arrows and arabic numerals at ‘6’ and ‘9’ in explorer configuration. Applied gold crown and “ROLEX” at ’12’. Swiss only dial. Original dagger hands in gold and blued steel second hand. Comes with original “roulette” date disk. Original crystal with magnifier has small scratches/gouges.
Movement
Original Rolex caliber 1210 manual winding movement with 17 jewels. Service history is unknown but is clean, running well and keeping excellent time.
Delivered on a black lizard strap with steel buckle.
As with all Stetz & Co. timepieces, this watch includes a full one year warranty.
